Roos Peeters is a Belgian Glass Artist and Designer, currently based in the UK. Glass blowing and hot sculpting are her main approaches for creating whilst encouraging a variety of techniques and materials in the process. Having a background in fine art translates through Peeters' pieces as her work is often conceptual and explores themes such as environmental, naturalistic themes and how we interact with those themes. 

She has currently been exploring and researching themes of shards and mixed media/compatibility, looking at the physicality of shards and how they interact with the organic movements of blown glass. Peeters has been bringing these concepts into the hotshop through focusing on blown glass as well as exploring a range of processes including cast glass, torch working, mould making and ceramic shards.
