This body of work has been developed through the research and exploration of shards and sharp components, looking at the shape and imagery they represent as well as how shards physically interact with a body of glass. There has been a range of different avenues explored here, including, metal mould blowing, lost wax casting with Kugler, internal forms and encasing porcelain shards in glass.
